Springwood B&B is situated in the small fishing village of Seahouses on the Heritage coast in
an area of outstanding natural beauty.With possibly the best views in the area we have the
rugged Cheviot hills to the west and Dunstanburgh castle, Beadnell and the Heritage coast to
the south.
To the north, voted one of Britains best views, is Bamburgh Castle. A little further north is
Lindisfarne the `Holy Island`.
Seahouses harbour is a few minutes walk away. From here you can take boat trips to The Farne Islands to see the famous bird sanctuary and grey seal colony.
Alnwick Castle(where the Harry Potter films were made) and gardens are a twenty minute drive away.
We have 70 acres of land with walks next to the beach and golf course.Wild life and birds everywhere.
Also some interesting wild plants, some of which are quite rare.
Sit in the garden relax ,unwind, enjoy the peace, listen to the birds a Curlew , a Lapwing (even the elusive corn bunting) and admire the beautiful sunsets.
